[seul-edu] RE: inclusion in the becta catalogue

Hi All,
I have just joined this list and thought I should briefly introduce myself.
I am a Governor of a UK school and a Linux dabbler with an interest in
seeing our school (and others in the UK) get benefits from open source /
Linux software.

Regarding mikee's post, I thought you might be interested to know that I
have just sent Becta a copy of a modest document I compiled with lots of
Linux in Education type links with brief descriptions. The reason I did
this was that in my trawls to find out more about activity in this area
there seemed to be rather a shortage of Links between some useful (to me)
sites. You will see from the correspondence below that the "infosheet"
person / department seemed glad of the information.
