This is a document I wrote a while ago, still in need of a bit of work,
that tries to explain how the free software model is actually better for
'normal people'. It mostly approaches it from the angle of businesses,
but the arguments could be adapted to the educational medium.
It's less a new work and more of a summary of other works that are already
out there, but never all in the same document.
So far, when people ask me what this free software argument is all about,
I point them at this document and they come back with "Ah! I understand.
That's a good idea."
Let me know what you think, and feel free to take it and run with it in
whatever direction you feel appropriate. :)
