	Yes, security would be a big issue.  The web server would have to be
SSL enabled and I envision parents being allowed to sign up for the service
if they wish.  I wanted to implement this idea at the school I student
taught with along with my cooperating teacher.  It would have been on a
smaller scale with only the grades for our class.  It would have been easy
as the districts server was some flavor of UNIX.  However, the school said
no way for the reason of security.
