Re: [seul-edu] Fwd: ideas

(I'm cc'ing this to Estuardo, since I doubt he's on the seul-edu list.)

There seem to be a number of resources for Linux in the Guatemala area.

* http://www.linuxmednews.com/linuxmednews/957569894/index_html
(a detailed description of the transition of Antigua's all-volunteer
Hermano Pedro hospital to Linux)

* linux.guatemala.org (Guatemala Linux's Users Group)

* http://linuxguatemala.org/ (related?)

* http://linuxguatemala.com/ (I don't speak Spanish, so I'm not quite
sure what this is.)

* www.guug.org (Guatemala Unix User's Group -- the internic contact
address for this is Oscar Bonilla, obonilla@GALILEO.EDU)

Estuardo -- can you give us some more details on the school? How many
students, what ages are they, how many computers do you expect to work
with, is your budget large or small, etc?

I very much recommend you make contact with the Linux user groups in
your area and see if they can help you.
