  Yes, I have gnome installed on my machine... and no, I can't praise it.

  I have a 486 DX2/66 and whenever I start one of the gnome programs, I
have to wait a whole minute for it to pop up.  

  Seriously, I'd suggest those guys at GNOME to use a 486 to develope those
programs.  Maybe that'll give them a perspective...
