Comment(by T(A)ILS developers):
Hi Mike,
I did the tests again under Tails after changing the Polipo config to
'censorReferer = false' and now my results with plain HTTP perfectly match
yours.
domain.tld â www.domain.tld
Now I get an unspoofed referer as you do, good.
domain.tld â one.domain.tld
Now I get an unspoofed referer as you do.
one.domain.tld â domain.tld
Now I get an unspoofed referer as you do.
So now that we get the same results I guess this first part of the whole
issue
is solved and understood.
Now, I'm insisting but I still disagree on sending unspoofed referer when
moving
between one.domain.tld and domain.tld. Shall I open a new specific bug
about
that, now that you closed this one?
