Comment:

 Yes. I talked to either George or Damian about this topic at the dev
 meeting in Seattle.

 Our pluggable transports need to learn how to survive an http proxy, and
 this blocking mechanism at the http proxy is orthogonal to (that is, in
 addition to) whatever brilliant designs the pluggable transports use.

 As for whether it would be a good feature to add to Tor, I'd say step zero
 is to figure out how the feature would work. :)
