The check on [https://gitweb.torproject.org/tor.git/tree/configure.ac#n55
configure.ac:55] seems to warn pretty loudly already as it prints an error
message and aborts the configuration phase.
FWIW the [https://www.gnu.org/software/autoconf/manual/autoconf.html
#Printing-Messages Autoconf manual] advises that `[t]he error-description
should start with a lower-case letter, and âcannotâ is preferred to
âcan'tâ.` So the current error message could be improved (on both points).
