Comment:

 The mailman list is a so-called side-wide list. The
 [https://wiki.list.org/DOC/4.25%20What%20is%20the%20purpose%20of%20the
 %20site-wide%20mailing%20list%3F Mailman wiki has a section about it]:

 > The site-wide mailing list is for errors and warnings generated by
 Mailman. It is also where password reminders appear to come from.

 I just reviewed the list settings and disabled the archive. This is
 recommended for the mailman list.
