Comment:

 This is an incompatibility with Firefox 14+.  It's fixed in the
 3.0development.5 version of HTTPS Everywhere ( https://www.eff.org/files
 /https-everywhere-devel.xpi ) and will be fixed shortly in version 2.2
 stable.
