 Ok, I was wrong when I said that no errors appear in console.
 When I press a button in Tor browser, this warning appears:
 (firefox:2879): IBUS-WARNING **: Events queue growing too big, will start
 to drop.

 If I quit ibus, Tor browser accepts my keyboard input. I've never
 encountered this error with another app though.
 Who is the culprit: Tor, Firefox, GTK, ibus?
