Yes! It would be great to update it. It's not broken by design, so far as
we can tell, but it sure doesn't have many (any) haskell-speaking
maintainers.
I think the two most urgent development tasks are:
1) Make tordnsel build happily on the later version of Haskell that
current Debian stable ships.
2) Fix the check.torproject.org cgi to pull in a text file of IP
addresses, and check whether the user is in the list. Doing dns queries
and stuff from the cgi for every user request is breaking check.
