Comment:

 Here is some additional data:  I was not able to reproduce this problem on
 Mac OS.  After upgrading from TB 4.5.3 to 5.0, the Share button was safely
 tucked away inside the browser's set of "Additional Tools and Features"
 (available from the hamburger menu when you choose "Customize").  Also,
 after I manually moved the Share toolbar item to the toolbar, it remained
 disabled.  I don't remember if we did anything during the TB 5.0
 development cycle to disable the share button.  Looking at the code, it
 may be that it is always disabled in private browsing mode, but turning
 off PBM did not re-enable it for me.
