"DSO" is a generic term. For Windows, DSO means ".dll". For *nix, it means
".so". For OSX, it means ".dylib".
DSO stands for "Dynamic Shared Object." Just a fancy way to genericize the
term for a .dll, .so, .dylib, etc.
Tor does use DSOs. :)
