Comment:
I'm having trouble reproducing the fix here. When I try to cross-compile
with "--enable-static-tor", with this patch or without it, it gets stuck
on libevent, not openssl.
It runs straight into
> configure: error: "You must specify an explicit --with-libevent-dir=x
option when using --enable-static-libevent"
whether I specify --with-libevent-dir or not, whether I apply this patch
or not.
Do you have a set of example instructions to produce a static build with
this patch?
