 yes, 40E0D0 is very light. We can use
 [https://styleguide.torproject.org/visuals/#colors, #68B030], which is the
 TPI green at the styleguide or [https://duckduckgo.com/?q=%2356D600,
 #56D600] which is the purple's complementary color.

 When I originally designed this UI, I thought that it could be nice to
 rotate the snowflake icon when snowflake has connections
 (`rotate(360deg)`). Maybe we can think about it the next iteration!
