Comment:

 Without digging too deeply, there is an issue with these popups, perhaps
 related to the TinyMCE js class being used or a same-origin issue. I think
 the right thing for now is disabling the "asserts" subdomain rule:

         <rule from="^https?://(?:secure\.)?assets\.tumblr\.com/"
                 to="https://secure.assets.tumblr.com/"; />
