 As far as I know fmap's patch at:

 https://github.com/fmapfmapfmap/onionoo-
 dev/commit/7e1e340e7b18c07e63788138d1b892239d3b4043

 implements the fix proposed above. ÂIt spits out whatever stale content it
 has but warns the downstream software with a 504 error. ÂBut if they want
 to use the content even though they see a 504 that the user's choice.
