 Hrm, that sounds like something worse than faulty user-space software
 should be able to inflict. One guess is that the virtualization software
 you are using messed something up when shutting down the tails vm. I'm
 afraid we can't really help you without exact error messages and debug
 info from osx, and even then it might be a long shot :/
