 The icon and tweet posting thing is weird. Are we sure that's not an
 HTTPS-Everywhere issue? If you don't mind risking sending stuff
 unencrypted, perhaps you might try clicking on HTTPS-Everywhere icon (the
 blue pointy one) and clicking Disiable and testing temporarily? Maybe you
 want to create a throwaway account for testing that, though...
