Comment(by sysrqb):
The getipnodebyname warnings are not surprising and can be ignored. The
lines
{{{
libtorsocks(7398): do_resolve: error connecting to SOCKS server
libtorsocks(7398): failed to resolve: github.com
}}}
explain the outcome but they indicate that the issue is a connectivity
problem between client and server. Yet, curl was successful. Does curl
resolve names a different way?
