 I just noticed this ticket when looking through old email.... on Linux and
 Windows, the menu bar can be hidden (and I think it is hidden by default).
 To show it permanently, use the menu buttom (the "hamburger" menu) to
 enter Customize mode, and then use the Show/Hide Toolbars dropdown menu to
 show the Menu Bar. There is more information here:
