 Yes, that's expected behaviour because on re-enabling TorBirdy, it sets
 secure defaults for all existing mail servers in case they have been
 configured incorrectly. While I agree that we can be "smart" about it, for
 now it just upgrades all settings to the secure defaults, which in this
 case is SSL/TLS. Does your server not support SSL/TLS? Using that is
 probably the easiest (and perhaps the only for now) solution to this
 problem.
