Hi!!!!!!!!!!!
I found a new reason to use TOR!!!!!!!!!
TOR allows you to easily access geo-limited content!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This
is very funny!!!!!!
You never easily know where proxy servers are located!!! but for TOR nodes
it's easy!!!! servers have their flags in the MAP of VIDALIA, and it's
very handy to use!!!!!!!!!
So, i found this way to use a selected exit node!!!!!! In firefox you've
to write in the address bar:
{{{
address.net.EXITNODENAME.exit
address.net.$EXITNODEID.exit
}}}
Either way, not all websites work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That system is flawed!!!!!!!!!!!!
After a lot of thinking and experiments i found why!!!!!!!!!!!
Click on this demo link!!!!
http://www4.ncsu.edu.spftor2.exit/~awwatkin/SHTML/dump.shtml
You see that the HTTP_HOST value has the exit node name too!!!!!!!!
{{{
HTTP_HOST=www4.ncsu.edu.spftor2.exit
}}}
I think it would be nice if in his button, mikeperry could add a feature
to remove the text ".spftor2.exit" from the "HOST" field sent in the HTTP
headers!!!!!!!!!
This super feature to select a particular exit node is very useful!!! but
to work it needs the improvement i described as well!!!! (not a priority
though!!!!!!!!!!!)
bye!!!!!!!!!!
~bee!!!!!!
