 Ah, I didn't realize git was "the" repo, I can base a patch off that
 instead. At the same time I might as well try to get the diff against the
 .ui file smaller.

 The basic problem is that the size-hints are suggesting a 0-pixel high
 really-wide window (and, in my case, ratpoison takes these hints as
 gospel). It was a little while ago that I fiddled with it, so I may have
 done other things and simply forgotten ;)
