dcf: What if we just didn't include flashproxy in the default bridge
prefs? Also, is UPNP likely to remain off or insufficient? If so, should
we just provide these instructions from BridgeDB, and require that
flashproxy remain a custom bridge type only?
I would like to avoid cluttering the "Use default Bridges" UI with
additional configuration steps and optional instructions, if possible. I'm
of the opinion that it should remain a no-config option that provides
bridges for the most likely functional transport type only.
I also still don't like probing as a general matter, especially in a way
that happens every single startup. If we do have to go the config route or
multiple transport type route, it seems like we should make the
prefbranches be extensions.torlauncher.default_bridge.type.N rather than
extensions.torlauncher.default_bridge.N, and have the user pick a type and
stick with it.
