 #19971 now has a branch that addresses these issues at least for some use
 cases. I don't think it's worth addressing them in a more generic way
 given Enigmail will handle torification itself (the code is already in
 their master branch). And then most of the Torbirdy code that deals with
 Enigmail can go away, which should solve this ticket for free :)
