 I think on Linux it doesn't work because firefox is run with `--no-remote`
 (as default). It might be possible to edit the start script to add the
 `--browser` option (to open a new window instead of a new browser
 instance), but I don't know if it has other side effects, or if there is a
 reason why we didn't do it by default.
