 Recently I have been getting the same warning on my message log:

 Jul 08 13:37:56.918 [Warning] ControlPort is open, but no authentication
 method has been configured.  This means that any program on your computer
 can reconfigure your Tor.  That's bad!  You should upgrade your Tor
 controller as soon as possible.

 I'm not sure exactly how to upgrade my Tor controller. I've searched this
 site (as well as tor projects main site) to no avail.
