AS OF 7/16/2012 :
The only edits made to the original Tor Browser Bundle downloaded from the
site were these:
I changed the torcc file to only use Exit Nodes in Great Britain.
I created a folder under FirefoxPortable/App/Firefox called "plugins" and
dragged the files for Adobe flash player there. (flashplayer.xpt and
NPSWF32_11_3_300_265.dll)
Then, I ran the browser, changing the settings to allow Adobe
flash/plugins. However, when I chose a site, such as BBC iPlayer, it
recognized that I was "in the UK" and that I had Adobe flash player, it
just needed me to enable Javascript. I did so using the NoScript button in
the toolbar, but then the entire browser froze, stopped responding, and
eventually crashed.
On earlier versions of this software, this was no problem whatsoever and
the scripts would easily enable. Now, enabling any scripts causes the
program to crash.
I have tried redownloading my older version of Tor from the archive and
repeating these same steps, only to find that the scripts now cause the
browser to crash in the old version too. Help greatly appreciated.
