 The XMission (partial) rule breaks maddox.xmission.com due to a
 certificate error.

 https://maddox.xmission.com/

 This occurs in Firefox and Google Chrome with HTTPS Everywhere development
 release 5 and HTTPS Everywhere 2012.6.21 for Chrome.

 Firefox gives the following error message.

 ---
 Secure Connection Failed

 An error occurred during a connection to maddox.xmission.com.

 SSL received a record that exceeded the maximum permissible length.

 (Error code: ssl_error_rx_record_too_long)

 Chrome gives the following message:

 ---

 SSL connection error

 Unable to make a secure connection to the server. This may be a problem
 with the server, or it may be requiring a client authentication
 certificate that you don't have.

 Error 107 (net::ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR): SSL protocol error.

   The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity
 of the received data could not be verified.
   Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

 broken site.
