 Thanks! Seems we need to,

 > Merely add <key>NSDisablePersistence</key><true/> to /Applications
 /TorBrowser_en-US.app/Contents/MacOS/TorBrowser.app/Contents/Info.plist is
 sufficient to trigger this behavior.
