Comment (by leeroy):

 A potential bug may happen if DescriptorCollectorImpl is given an empty
 string instead of a remote directory. If this happens the fetch ''will''
 happen and return the directory contents. This probably isn't what you
 want to happen so the recently updated patch includes everything else plus
 a fix for this event.
