Hello folks from the EFF,
since a couple of years, I've been using Firefox with HTTPS Everywhere -
and it has always worked fine. The current version I'am using is 5.0.7.
In the last few days, however, the rewrite rules for the domains gmx.de
(Germany) and gmx.net seem to have been changed. After entering either of
the two domain names, I'm always redirected to gmx.ch (Switzerland), which
is not really where I want to be (although Switzerland is undoubtedly a
fine place to visit ).
This faulty behaviour disappears as soon as HTTPS Everywhere is disabled
in the Firefox add-ons. So I guess the HTTPS Everywhere rules must be the
very reason for it ...
I wonder if you could just have a look at the rewrite rules for gmx.de and
gmx.net and maybe even correct them at the appropriate places. That would
be great.
Regards from Germany
