 Let me translate that into user-speak:

 Users won't know that they need to perform a DNS query by hand.  They
 won't even know what that ''means''.  Thus, we need to make Pidgin perform
 the DNS SRV queries it needs for XMPP through Tor, using DNS-over-TCP.
