Comment:

 On second thought, it would be silly to expose information about tunneled
 and non-tunneled directory connections in different ways.  We should
 expose information about all client directory connections in the same way,
 and give controllers the stream identifier of each tunneled directory
 connection.

 See #3459 for the âexpose information about directory connections to
 controllersâ ticket.
