 TBB 2.2.36-1 on Debian Wheezy does not block a popup on thepiratebay.se:

 1. Browse to https://thepiratebay.se/
 2. Read warning saying you have requested an encrypted site that contains
 some unencrypted information
 3. Click OK
 4. Click in the search box
 5. Get a popup for some poker site
