Here is a list more things that must be done till the transport is
deployable:
- Write a SOCKS-server for the client-side. We should look at how
flashproxy does it.
- We need to write a spec on how the transport works. We also need to
write a threat model. See https://gitweb.torproject.org/pluggable-
transports/obfsproxy.git/blob/HEAD:/doc/obfs3/obfs3-protocol-spec.txt and
https://gitweb.torproject.org/pluggable-
transports/obfsproxy.git/blob/HEAD:/doc/obfs2/obfs2-threat-model.txt .
- We need pyptlib support. I see you started implementing it, but don't
worry about it. I can do it tomorrow or the day after.
- SSL support.
- We need to move the stuff from the config file to hardcoded parameters
and command line switches. That's how we currently deploy pluggable
transports. Check out how flashproxy is currently deployed (open up a
pluggable transport bundle, and check the torrc).
