 If possible, let's use [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IMAP_IDLE IMAP IDLE]
 ([https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc2177 RFC 2177]) to get real-time
 notification of new registration messages, and not have messages wait up
 to a minute until we poll.

 I guess we should still poll upon connecting and from time to time, just
 in case IDLE goofs up and misses something.
