Comment:

 This task isn't done yet, but I made some good progress.

 metrics-lib is now in use by Onionoo, DocTor, and metrics-web.  It
 supports parsing 4 of the 5 descriptor types on
 https://metrics.torproject.org/data.html.  The missing 5th type is
 performance data, which I'd rather want to convert into a new format
 (#3036) before implementing the parser.  Another descriptor type used by
 metrics-web is GetTor data which first needs to go on the data page before
 being implemented in metrics-lib.

 Moving this ticket to June 2012 when it's really due.
