I'm using debian wheezy/icedove and enigmail as only other add-on. My
gmail got locked down and they forced a password change. I disabled
TorBirdy for entering the new password, but although shown as disabled, I
still get the "The proxy server is refusing connections" message in the
add-ons manager and the connection to the mail server gets refused, unless
I'm running tor as well. I tried icedove in safe-mode, with all add-ons
disabled with the same result. There is also no uninstall/remove button on
TorBirdy in the add-ons manager. I had TorBirdy previously disabled and
re-enabled without any problems, so the issue occurred suddenly. Of course
I can manually remove TorBirdy, but I left it as is for now, so if you
someone tells me how to provide further information on how to re-create
I'll be happy to. I'm not too savvy so it might be improper usage, but my
debian install is fresh and I did not configure much.
