remote` (as default). It might be possible to edit the start script to add
the `--browser` option (to open a new window instead of a new browser
instance), but I don't know if it has other side effects, or if there is a
reason why we didn't do it by default.

cannot test your approach. However, since I can't keep using Win7 forever
(meaning that I'll have to switch to a Linux OS eventually), I'd
appreciate it if someone could try if this works.
I am not sure about this, but maybe it is possible to add the `--browser`
option in the configuration for the default programs on Windows 7.
