[http://www.livejournal.com/bots/ About LiveJournal bot policy]
Main: no more than 5 connections per second and caching results.
Probable solution: appeal from TorProject to LJ according to
[wiki:TheOnionRouter/TorGuideUniversities "How do I make my University /
ISP / etc happy with my exit node?"] and feature "request delay to site".
If a caching of request results on Tor-exit is available, acceptably and
without security holes, it could propose a bonus to LJ reducing load to LJ
servers by caching on Tor-exits.
Temporary workaround: ExcludeExitNodes setting of client options in torrc
with LJ-banned Tor-exits. It would work until LJ bans all Tor-exits.
Also, look at active LJ support requests with banned IP (some IP - Tor-
exits):

Emails to webmaster @ livejournal.com do nothing.
