New description:

 I also sometimes can't Cmd+click to open a link in a new tab (nothing
 happens).

 Also, when I do open a new tab, then press the Back button, it changes the
 URL
 bar to the location of the last tab I opened, but doesn't actually go back
 or
 change the page I'm on at all.

 I have not modified any Torbutton settings. This is FF 3.0.1, torbutton
 1.2.0, tor 0.2.0.31.

 The relevant code here has changed many times. Please refile if this is
 still an issue.
