 the same problem currently occurs on blutmagie3. It vanished without
 manual intervention on blutmagie1 Nov 13 09:31:05. Blutmagie1 and
 blutmagie3 are directory mirrors, blutmagie2 and blutmagie4 aren't. I'll
 attach all four stats data directories to this ticket.

 So far I didn't burn the corpse meaning no process has been restarted and
 no stats files have been deleted.
