Hello,
I have downloaded various versions of the Tor browser, including,
Tor 8.0.1
Tor 8.0.3
as well the alternative 8.5a
I receive this message each time I open the file...
''Tor unexpectedly exited. This might be due to a bug in Tor itself,
another program on your system, or faulty hardware. Until you restart Tor,
the Tor Browser will not able to reach any websites. If the problem
persists, please send a copy of your Tor Log to the support team'
"Restarting Tor will not close your browser tabs"
The notification then gives me the option to either, 'Restart Tor', 'Quit'
and 'Copy Tor Log To Clipboard'.
In addition, I have also uninstalled each .dmg file and reinstalled and
each time I received the same message. As of November 1, 2018, Tor is the
only browser that I do not have. Tor is also the only browser that I am
having difficulties with. I do not know how to proceed with the
installation. Will there be any updated version of Tor coming to release
soon? Or is this an issue that can be looked be into and fixed with an
update?
