Soooo, there are two problems on ubuntu. One seems to have been the one
this bug described, while the other is pretty mundane: the installed tor
.service-file in the distribution does not properly recognize the started
tor instance and restarts it after the default timeout of 300sec. Which is
weird, because the old tor.service-file did work properly with the
provided package on the debian-tor-binary-package, and I just replaced the
tor binary with the self-built one from the maintenance-branches.
I've replaced it with a better suiting tor.service-file, and maint-0.3.3
worked fine for the past 12h hours. I will recheck the maint-0.3.4-branch
now.
