 Before your changes, but I also stopped being able to reproduce it before
 I changed the binary at all. A while after the successfully bootstrapped
 message, Tor started using 100% cpu. No new notice log entries were
 created, and since I hadn't configured a torrc I couldn't just hup the
 process to change logging to debug :(
