Comment:

 getInfo is probably calling the GETINFO command of the controller API.  (I
 haven't looked at this code in a few years, so I could be wrong.)  If
 that's right , you should be able to use the GETINFO targets starting with
 "md/" to get microdescriptor information.  See control-spec.txt for more
 information on that.
