Today I looked at the metrics-web code and considered adding this graph.
But it would be a huge hack and potentially add new bugs, which is why I
decided against doing it. The much better long-term approach is to wait
for Visionion.
And here's the short-term approach I worked on instead: a simple Java tool
that parses bridge descriptor tarballs and outputs a .csv file that can
then be graphed. Running this tool takes a few minutes or even hours,
depending on input, so it's not something we can/should do on a regular
basis. But if we really want to know how many pluggable transport bridges
there are, we can run it. I attached a current
[https://trac.torproject.org/projects/tor/attachment/ticket/9187/pt-
bridges.png graph] and added the code to the
[https://gitweb.torproject.org/metrics-tasks.git/tree/HEAD:/task-9187
metrics-tasks.git repository].
